Flow Plumbing Co.

Flow Plumbing Co Project Thumbnail

This project is a conceptual landing page design intended to demonstrate structure, UX flow, and visual direction. Interactive elements such as buttons and redirects are not functionally implemented, as the focus is on front-end presentation rather than full application development.

Project Overview

Flow Plumbing Co. is a concept website designed for a local plumbing business, focusing on lead generation, trust-building, and service clarity.

The project explores how a service-based business can improve conversion and customer trust through structured content, clear calls-to-action, and a strong visual identity.

Problem

Many local plumbing websites suffer from:

• Weak or missing calls-to-action.

• Lack of trust signals such as licenses and guarantees.

• Overly populated design.

For users, this creates hesitation, especially in urgent situations where quick decisions are required. Additionally, businesses often need a solution that balances speed of delivery with a clear, predictable outcome.

Approach & Process

The strategy focused on creating a conversion-driven website while leveraging a template-based approach to improve efficiency and alignment. Key considerations involve the following:

• Using a structured template as a baseline to accelerate development.

• Customising content and layout to reflect real business needs.

• Providing a predictable structure that stakeholders can easily understand.

• Allowing flexibility to adapt branding and messaging.

This approach reflects workflows where templates act as a starting point rather than a limitation.

The project followed a structured approach aligned with SDLC principles, incorporating a template-based workflow.

Planning & Requirements

Defined user needs around urgency, trust, and clarity, while identifying the need for a scalable and efficient design approach.

Design

A base template was used to establish layout structure, which was then customised to improve hierarchy, content clarity, and conversion flow.

Development

The design was structured for implementation in WordPress using  Elementor, enabling modular and reusable sections.

Testing

Content and layout were refined to reduce friction, improve readability, and strengthen CTA visibility

Technology & Implementation

The project is designed for implementation using: WordPress and Elementor along with a free Elementor template. The template-based approach enables faster development, consistent structure, and possible easier client alignment and iteration.

While the template defined the base layout, the visual identity was customised through:

• Including new sections relevant to the business.

• Modifying content and arrangment of the existing sections.

• Consistent spacing and hierarchy.

This demonstrates the ability to apply branding within predefined systems.

Outcome

The final design presents a structured and user-focused website that supports lead generation and service clarity. This project demonstrates my ability to:

• Work within template-based systems.

• Customise layouts to meet specific business needs.

• Balance efficiency with thoughtful UX decisions.

• Deliver practical and scalable design solutions.
